At six months old she was hit by a car and her front right leg was badly injured but her people did not get her medical attention. A concerned neighbor reported the neglect, authorities investigated, Lola was rescued and finally got the medical attention she deserved. Unfortunately, her leg had to be amputated but that has not held her back. She is a happy, energetic, agile and extremely active canine.
She’s found a new and loving home where she has thrived and is living her best life. She has had extensive training and socialization in the year following her injury. She is now registered, with the American Kennel Club (AKC), as Lady Lola of Willowbrook. She has earned her Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) as well as Trick Dog Novice (TKN) AKC titles. She has had Rattle Snake avoidance training and her training continues so she may be a Therapy Dog as well as a Service Dog.
She’s got a long life ahead of her and she is poised to do great things!
